day 2 of practicing drawing with a reference pic.
i picked another ugly (no offense to iggy pop fans out there  -- i'm a huge stooges fan actually) dude because mistakes are less noticeable, and i should probably learn muscle anatomy at some point. i'll do someone more photogenic next, promise!<edit> PERSON I FIND INTERESTING #2: IGGY POP notorious for his performance antics, the one-time singer of the stooges has shown amazing longevity in a field where the average half-life of fame is a couple months. pioneering the stage-dive? check. constantly shirtless (even at the ripe old age of 60)? check. and what's more rock and roll than rolling around in broken glass onstage? the stooges' "fun house" album is a must-listen, but more recently i've been in awe of his collaboration with fatboy slim -- see him in puppet format at [link] Comments

thanks! i think my referencing ability far exceeds my freehand drawing ability still, but hopefully this practice will help me close the gap.

thanks! i'm pretty much still just a glorified photocopier at this point, but i'm starting to notice a lot of detail that i can eventually incorporate into my freehand works... must... keep... practicing!
